Recently we were given the opportunity to sell our property for the development of a Medical Marijuana Provisioning Center. This does NOT mean we will be closing, but if all goes well, we would be moving to a different location within the community. The sale of our property currently depends on an approval from the City of Grand Rapids Planning Commision. We plan to send the following to the Planning Commission:
“Thank your for giving us this opportunity to state our position regarding the Special Land Use license for the property our business, Weisner, Innis & Schoen LLC currently owns. We support the medicinal use of marijuana in people and animals, and are excited about the sale of our property to Green Skies Healing Tree, as they have an excellent reputation.
We plan on using the funds from the sale to buy and renovate property in the local area for a larger veterinary clinic with more parking available to our clients without having to raise our prices to cover the cost. Our business philosophy is “Quality medicine at reasonable fees” as we believe pets are a necessary part of life for most people, not a luxury. We believe the human-animal bond people share with their pets is extremely important for the health of pet owners, both physically and mentally, and our goal is to continue to provide excellent care to our local community’s pets.
Please let us know if you have any questions for us that would help you with your decision.
Drs Innis, Schoen, and Faasse”
